OWNERS OF THE 'THE WORLD'S LEADING LIGHTWEIGHT'
The beginnings of the Excelsior Talisman Enthusiast go back to 1994, when Nigel Halliday of the Berkeley Enthusiasts Club and Roy Wheaton a collector of Talisman twins, produced a newsletter called the Talisman Telegraph with the aim of putting Talisman owners in touch with each other for the exchange of information and spares. The Enthusiasts officially formed in 1999 with a stand at the Stafford Show.
Over the years Colin Powell with the help of other committed enthusiasts continues to attend Stafford Show. Supplying parts, helping with bike issues and identification, restoration work and production of the Talisman Telegraph are all an integral part of what the Excelsior Talisman Enthusiasts is all about.
